San Sabino House
The house was built at the beginning of 1900 and is set on a hill called “Colle San Tommaso” in the outskirts of Spoleto. The house was built by its owners who, at that time, held also the fields around it. Even now in the fields all around wheat and corn are grown but the place is at its most beautiful when wonderful sunflowers blow giving to the house a magic touch of nature. In front of the house there is a barn which was used to store grain after harvesting. It is a structure with a roof inside which there are 2 holes about 4 meters deep and with a circumference of about 2 meters. These holes were used to store the grain. The barn is still in very good conditions and gives a touch of beauty to the holiday house.
The Holiday House
The holiday house is composed of 7 rooms, 4 of them
with private bathroom and the remaining 3 with outside bathroom for private
use. On the ground floor a built-in kitchen is available, with
a fratino table and two benches.
The following kinds of
rooms are available : single room, twin room, double room, quad room. It
is possible to arrange a triple solution upon request. On the ground floor
there is also an accessible room with outside bathroom.
Bike And Walking Tours
San Sabino House offers to mountanbike lovers the opportunity to organize day and night excursions along the very famous old railway Spoleto – Norcia, now discontinued, but even in many other places around Spoleto, considering the enchanting position of the town, surrounded by mountains and hills.
